DH is insisting that we're going. It's me who's having trouble pulling the trigger on this trip. I'm going to have to start getting over the sticker shock.

Is driving an option? It looks like you are in the CT area. It's probably a 16 hour drive if so and if airfare is still elevated it may be a better option.

Driving isn't out of the realm of possibility, but I'd rather not. I hate being in the car for long periods of time (my legs get really restless), and it would eat into our time frame a bit...but it is a possibility.
