Help I need a way to take

attendance for work. I was trying a Google Sheet with a QR code attached. I want managers to be able to easily pull up the sheets & mark a code for absentees (1- sick, 2- personal, etc) BUT not to clock in - they have a way for that.

The problem I have run into is to is scanning the QR code is requiring the user to download the Google App. Is there another way to do this without having to download the app or is there another app which would be more efficient?

Microsoft TEAMs Forms is a tool that is easy and can produce a linnk and or a QR code and no app needed.. We use it for external quick surveys.. mobile and desktop versions work great

If you are using Google Sheet people should just be able to log in to their Google Drive account and download the sheet or just ADD info into the sheet you have SHARED with all the parties. You will have to add their Gmail/Google Drive accounts as the only ones being shared with and that they can ADD or CHANGE info on the sheet.

Doesn't the clock in work? Or are you trying to figure out who is physically in a building? Depending on the size of a building, why not a simple sign in sheet?

Depending on how many people, a magnetic board with everyone's names with magnets or a marker to indicate they're on site.

Not everything has to be digital.

I would assume your payroll software already has that feature.

Whatever payroll software you are using will have this. If someone is scheduled to work and doesn't fill in the reason.

I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish here that won't just be done in payroll software.
