I am in the middle of packing for our trip tomorrow and I have a few urgent questions I am hoping you can help me with. We are staying in a studio at the boardwalk villas.

!. We plan to eat breakfast in the room everyday. What kind of dishes will be stocked in the room? Is there papertowels or just a dish towel for washing dishes? Does anyone know what shape coffee filters are needed for the coffee pot in the room? I was told there is a microwave, mini-fridge, toaster, and coffee pot. Is this correct?
2. Can you request extra pillows for the room? There are four of us (2 on the bed and 2 on the pullout sofa) and I like to use 3 pillows by myself.
3. How long of a walk is it from the villas to the boardwalk cafe?
4. My sister is also coming and will be staying at Port Orleans Riverside. What would be the best means of transportation to get from BWV to Port Orleans Riverside?

I need answers right away, so I would really appreciate it if you could reply back quickly.

Thanks in advance for all your help.

Papertowels and dishcloths.
Paper plates and bowls, glassware, plastic silverware.
If you are bringing your own coffee, the smaller filters fit best, but standard will do. The coffee they supply is already packed in a filter.
Our studio only had 2 pillows, but you can request more.
They have all the appliances you mentioned.
The walk to the bakery is no more than 5 minutes and they open at 6 or 6:30am for coffee (if you get the refillable mugs)
There is also a bar in the lobby (Inn side) that serves breakfast/beverages.
Have a magical time, we were there 2 weeks ago...excellent customer service

Thanks so much for your reply.

I assume they stock enough paper plates, paper bowels, and plasticware to accomodate the number of occupants for the entire length of the stay. If that is not the case can you request more from the front lobby?

I was going to pack those items if they were not supplied. It sounds like I don't need to.

I didn't realize they supplied coffee either.

Anything else I need to know?

The free laundry for the studios is by the fitness center elevators, so if you want pack laundry supplies.

In DVC studios you get "service for four" in paper plates & bowls (ceramic mugs) and plastic silverware...they replenish on the 4th day (part of Trash & Towel service)...so no, you don't get enough for the entire length of stay...I've never requested more, so don't know if it's free or not...clean towels in between T&T is not free; I think extra towel sets are $6/each...also, your coffee makes one pot-full...they don't replenish that til day 4 either...so depending on how much use you plan to make of in-room coffee-making/cooking, you may want to pack some supplies after all...

They have all that stuff in the store (forget the name of the BWV store, but it's a nice and fairly big one)...of course on-site resort stores won't give you the best prices ever...up to you whether you want to pack & carry and save money, or just get the supplies you'll need when you get there...

Getting to POR from BWV will be no problem (altho a bit complex) during park hours...you can walk to Epcot or walk/boat to the STudios and catch a POR bus there...after (or before) hours your options are harder...you can bus to Downtown Disney and pick up a POR bus there, or you can take a cab...at night it's not a problem, but downtown Disney buses don't start particularly early in the mornings...

Of course, you can also take a cab (should be around $15 for the trip)...or rent a car & drive...

They supply one pak of coffee in your studio. They will replenish it on day 4 during Trash and Towel. You can purchase additional paks which will be charged to your room. Much more economical to bring your own though.

The supply they provide is minimal on the paper items. I believe about 4 of each is the usual (plates, bowls etc) You may be able to request more of these, however.

Your room should have 4 pillows total (2 will be in the closet for the sleep sofa).

They only supply coffee for 2/3 days at a time, I believe it costs extra if you ask for more.
The plates and bowls, ect, same thing.probably a couple of days for 4 people. I don't think they would charge for extra, but not sure.

That's so funny...we had the oposite in our room...extra coffee...not enough pillows....not even in the closet....I don't know why...I didn't ask for extra. It was a fight in the midlle of the night to see who woke up with both pillows and who was hugging the blanket:rotfl:

OP didn't say how they booked. The rules might be different if they booked a DVC villa through Disney Central Reservations. For example, you get housekeeping every day if you book through Central Reservations, but you don't if you're a DVC member. So maybe you could get more paper plates, plastic silverware, etc., each day if you need it if you booked through Central Reservations. Just a thought... I'm not sure.

In our experience the pillows for the sleepsofa were "in" the sofabed. When you open it up there is a storage spot inside holding the pillows.

OP - have a magical time!! :goodvibes

Stayed at BWV 5/17-5/24. There were 3 small pillows on the bed - none in the closet. Call for additional pillows and/or blankets. Two coffee packets but I always bring filters (standard) and coffee for DH and tea bags for myself along with a ziploc storage container of sugar put inside of a ziploc bag. Those little start up packets just don't do it. There was a small amount of paper plates and bowls and we did have to ask for more. Not a problem though. We found a cast member from mousekeeping and he got them for us right away. They were not replinshed on T&T day. Four regular glasses and four ceramic mugs. Plastic utensils. Had room 5053 overlooking the green and it was great. Have a great time.
