HELP! I got my ADR's, Crocs, Bagallinni NOW WHAT?!!

Okay I'll join this wonderful new compulsive club. My DH books the vacations and he "is done." My work begins.

I figure out what clothing will be needed and make lists. I personally pack weeks ahead of time, accounting for inclimate weather (must have more clothing options -- in case of rain).

I make the adr's and print menus for everyone. I check and double check-- up until we walk out the door, that everyone is okay with said reservations.

I probably put my family through unbelievable torture and unbearable ordeal going through these planning stages, but they reap the rewards of all this hard work. Just one more way to be the perfect planner, wife and mother.

What are the glow sticks for???

We used the glow sticks on the dark rides - even Peter Pan. They helped my youngest, who was 8 at the time, be brave. We even shared them with little ones we were in line with. I get them at the Dollar Store and they come in a little hard round tube that travels well. Canned braveness - gotta love it!

A tip...the 'spice' color is really a burnt orange but it's not too bad - Looks good with the green interior.

Oh, I'm so glad to see I'm not the only one who is going to do this. Between my DM (who hates almost all vegetables, plus she's diabetic) and my oldest DS (who is on the white and orange food diet), I had to check every menu at the places I made ADRs to make sure there was something they'd eat there!! I told DM that I'd print a list for her of our ADRs and the menus so she'll be prepared!

Ahhhh...I like that one for taking to the parks! Question - are you the primary carrier of all things for the family or does everyone carry their own water & stuff? I always wondered about that - I seem to be the family pack mule. Oh well...I don't mind that much.

Well, considering it's just me and my DD, I'm the pack mule. Don't mind it, though, since it's just the two of us. Not a whole to carry and this bag will make dealing w/camcorder and digicam a lot easier.
