Help! I emailed a voicemail and received an out of office email back

Help! I finally got up the nerve to send a voicemail via email as an mp3, and after watching the Wonderful Will's video tutorial I believe it was sent successfully. However, when I checked my email this morning, I received an out of office email from Pete. Now, I am an avid listener and realize that Pete is gone for a few weeks for personal reasons, but I thought that the emails went to all members and not just Pete. Has anyone else sent a voicemail as a mp3 lately and received the same message? Do I need to send it to someone else to make sure they get it? Thank you for any help you can give me.

That's normal to get the out of office reply from Pete, because he set his out of office assistant that way. But the rest of the team should get the emails just fine.

Last week I got three "out of the office" emails... John, Kevin and Pete I was wondering if they were forwarding it to the next person in line then figured out it isn't that fun, it just is doing its job
