Help I can't logon to the DIS!

I'm currently signed on with my DS's logon id. I tried logging out and I get the screen that says "All Cookies Cleared". But when I go back to the DIS boards, it still shows my DS's ID. I can't get to any DIS logon screen.

Thinking this was a cookie problem, I did a disk cleanup of all temp. internet files. That was successful. I accessed the DIS from both AOL and Internet Explorer and I still get his ID.

I have a Dell computer...this thing is so frustrating!! Does anyone have any suggestions other than posting under my DS's ID?

Could this be a DIS problem? I logged in and out of Expedia today with no problem.

Did you try clicking "log out" on the far right side of the tool bar line with your user cp on it? It is right underneath your "welcome user-id" box

Yes, that is exactly what I did. I get the screen that says "all cookies cleared". When I then go back into the forum, it still shows as logged in under my DS's user id.

That is going on with my laptop too. I have tried everything and it won't log me out either.

That happened to me the other day. What finally worked was going to the actual Cookies folder (on the C drive), searching for every cookie that had a "Dis" in it, and subsequently deleting each one.

Then I was able to log out.

Is it generally a good idea to delete everything in the Cookies file off the C drive or should I hunt and peck through the whole list?

I don't like deleting all cookies because then I lose my saved logins and passwords, which is a pain!

You can do Control-F when you get to the Cookies folder, and let the computer do a search for all the "Dis" cookies.
