I can convince DH to go back to WDW if it's just a "quick little trip": 4 nights max. I would love 6 or 7 nights, but he doesn't think we should be taking any "big trips" right now (and in all honesty, he's right). He wants only 3 nights, but I know I can talk him into 4.

Anyway, seeing that I didn't think we'd be going back for many years I am happy nonetheless!! But this brings about a new planning dillemma, How to plan for just 4 nights??

A little more info:
We will be driving and checking in at about 1pm the 1st day and leaving around 3 or 4pm the last day. We both really enjoy DQ and PI (It's just DH and I) plus we want to try TL this time (did BB last time). AK is DH's favorite, I like MK and we both love Epcot. Neither of us were crazy about MGM, but there are some key attractions I'd like to hit (Indy, RNR, ToT)

Any help/ideas is greatly appreciated!!

Try two parks a day! That way, you will be able to hit all of your favorites. I would suggest staying at an Epcot Resort--this will keep you close to PI and Epcot, can hit MGM for a bit too, without a lot of time lost between places.

Have fun!

We've done this before and we're planning another 4 nite trip for June. I just took a couple months maternity leave and have very little vacation time so this year we only get a short trip. But I would rather go for a few nites and at least get a "taste" than not go at all again this year. (Had to cancel last year's trip due to pregnancy complications.)

I actually found our short trip to be very satisfying - probably because we were forced to focus on the things we really wanted to do. When we went for a whole week we didn't make very good use of our time because we kept thinking we'd have plenty of time to get back to the things we missed. (We should have known better. ;) )

What worked for us was to make a list of the must-do attractions at each park and we just did one park per day. We opted to just go to MK and MGM with a day in between to relax at our resort and to go shopping at DTD. To get around to all that you have in mind, I think I would head to DQ right after check-in and spend the afternoon there and then maybe head to PI after taking a dinner break. Maybe spend your 3 full days park hopping and then hit TL on your last day before heading home. Kind of commando but sounds like fun and should be do-able since you won't have kids with you. Whatever you do, hope you have a great trip.:)
