Help - how to get from CDG to DLP

Hi everyone - I'm off to NBC Admiral's floor tomorrow and this board has been of great help, thanks.

I haven't been able to find clear information on how to get from the airport (CDG) to DLP. Can anyone tell me where to go for the bus or train after collecting my luggage (terminal 3) - my flight gets in at 18:00 and I would love to get some time in the park that night, should I get the train or will the bus get me there in plenty of time?

Any help is appreciated - thanks.

Hi there, I bet you're getting excited with a day to go!
Take a look at www.vea.fr which is the bus service from the airport to DLP hotels. If you click on practical information it has a timetable and there are still 5 buses after 6pm (the first is at 6.15pm).
To find the bus stop leave the terminal through the main exit and take a right, walk a few hundred metres until you see the VEA bus stop sign- it's one of the first bus stops i think.
I haven't taken the train before so can't tell you anything about that but if you search on the forum there have been quite a few threads encouraging people to give the train a go.

Thanks Smileyk8, yes I can't wait, though I'm a bit nervous about getting the most out of the time I have there, but after reading the posts here I feel better armed than I did after reading Disneys insider guide. I'll have a search for the train threads as it looks like I would have only 15 minutes to get my luggage and get out to the bus otherwise I'll have to wait an hour for the next bus.

I would warn you that, if your saying you've got 15 minutes from the time you land, then you probably won't make it. It takes a little while for the plane to taxi over to T3 after landing, then you have to get on a little bus to take you over to the terminal building. Then you go through immigration which takes a few minutes, then you have to wait for your luggage!!

Having said that, the VEA shuttle is then very easy to find outside T3 - just turn right on exiting the arrivals hall and walk about 200 yards.

Here is a map of T3 to give you an idea of what I'm talking about.

To get to the TGV station, carry on walking past the VEA stop, past the end of the building, through the tunnel, cross the road - to the airport shuttle stops! Take the No. 5 bus over to T2, and the Gare TGV is about the fourth stop.

I'm honestly not sure you will get into the park whatever mode of transport you take - the Disneyland Park closes at 7 pm tomorrow. So if you get there and know you're not going to make it into the park that evening, I would go for the VEA as the (slightly) cheaper and (definitely) easier option

Thanks Becky, yes I thought I'd have to wait for the later bus. The TGV looks expensive and it's obviously too late to book over the internet (not sure if you can get your tickets at the TGV station in the airport).

More worringly you say that the park closes at 7pm, is that GMT or CET, as far as I can see it's open until 8pm CET, so I was hoping to see something before it closes.

10.00 - 19.00 from Monday to Friday (I think they must mean Mon to Thurs )
9.00 - 20.00 on Saturday
9.00 - 21.00 on Sunday

on December 8th, 2006:
10.00 - 20.00

from December 9th to 21st, 2006:
10.00 - 19.00 from Monday to Friday
9.00 - 20.00 on Saturday
9.00 - 21.00 on Sunday

on December 22nd, 2006:
10.00 - 20.00


In case you don't make it in time, you will still be able to enjoy a browse round the shops in the Village or grab a bite to eat there.
