Help....how to get back to POP after fireworks cruise

DH and I are doing a Wishes fireworks cruise during September. We will be arriving at the GF from MGM, so that is not a problem. Wishes is scheduled at 8:00 that evening...boat leaves dock at 7:30 and probably returns about 9:00. Once we disembark, will the monorail still be running to MK so that we will be able to transfer to a POP bus? Or can we take monorail to TTC, pick up monorail to EPCOT, and then get transfer bus to POP? Also, about how long should it take for us to get from MGM to GF? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would think that your best bet would be to go to Epcot and catch a bus there.

See if your captain will drop you at the marina at the Polynesian - and then you can walk to the TTC and hop the monorail to Epcot - you may even catch part of Illuminations while on the monorail!

Your other options would be bus from GF to downtown disney and then to Pop (long!), or take a cab from the GF direct to Pop.

Thanks for the info. Would the captain actually stop at the other marina to let us off? If so, that would be awesome. I was just afraid that since Epcot "officially" closes at 9, that the monorail would not run to drop people off there.

Attractions at Epcot close at 9:00pm, but IllumiNations runs until, perhaps, 9:20. People staying at Magic Kingdom resorts need to get back to their rooms, so the monorial needs to run awhile for them.

A non-stop bus from MGM to GF should take 15-20 minutes.
