Hi everyone, we are in the very early planning stages having never been to Disneyland before!
Thinking of the 4 day offer for next June time, but no idea how much money we would need to save?
There's 2 adults and 2 children (6 and 4) and breakfast is included at the disney hotels we have been looking at.
I guess it will depend on what we do over there, would love to do things like character meals and any shows that happen to be on.

Thanks in advance if anyone can give me even a rough idea to budget.

you can spend loads, or you can do DLP on a budget, its up to you.
We are one adult, one child. I spend roughly 65 euros per day at DLP, this pays for counter service lunch, table service dinner, a couple of hot/cold drinks, and also includes my daughter's souvenir spends (she gets around 40-50 euros to spend while we are there).

So I think 130 euros per day would cover your food and some of your souvenirs. You'll need to add a bit to that if you want to do the most expensive restaurants and the Buffalo Bills show, for example.

thanks for your reply, that certainly gives me something to base the budget on.
We definately want to do the Buffalo show and the lunch with the princesses, and maybe a character breakfast :)

We were planning to take £500 for our 4night 5 day stay, this would've included, a counter service lunch, table service dinner (inventions Sunday brunch too) and lots of souveniers!

Unfortunately DH had to take time off in paid so our new budget is £375, we've taken inventions off the plan for this year and will have more snacky lunches (iv bought some biscuits ad crisps and drinks to take in the park with us for in the day too)

Id go on look at some menus and decide where ou want to eat and what kinds of foods, then you will have your basic food budget and then add some extra for shopping x

Hi. We are bringing 180 euro per days for 2 adults. We have full board, but need to pay more for inventions Sunday brunch, and some more dinners that are not covered. We had save all year to go a bit crazy on things down there

thanks for both of your replies :)
i am slowly getting round to working out what we will want to do over there, then can start looking at the restaurants. I'd imagine an evening meal for the 4 of us every night won't be cheap.
Are you allowed to take food into the park then during the day? I imagined we'd get stopped and bag searched etc. but good if we could take snacks in!

yes, you can take snacks and soft drinks into the parks, you won't be stopped from doing this.

I think if it's a huge picnic hamper you might be stopped but I plan on just taking a couple of drinks and a few crisps/cereal bars in, it's quite expensive to buy drinks in the park so I'd rather take a few in and as we'll have the pram it's no hassle to chuck them in the basket :)

Oh that's good to know then, I really didn't think they would let you so that's good news especially as our children need a constant supply of food allllllll day! Our 4 yr old will probably have her buggy so will just fill it up underneath :)
