Hi Everyone
I am thinking of trying Boma for the first time in September, I always get nervous trying new places, I don't wanna be disappointed, however, my aunt raves about this place and said they go several times every trip, so I was wondering what everyone here thought about it, Any reviews/advice would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

I really enjoyed Boma last summer. I'm kind of bummed we decided not to do it this trip.

Everything I ate there was really delicious, the soups, the meats, desserts, everything. Even my aunt, who's one of the pickiest eaters I know, loved Boma. It's one of her top two favorite restaurants in WDW now (along with Le Cellier).

My one complaint (that it's a buffet) is also what makes it so great because you can try so many different things.

I would recommend giving it a shot.

Boma is great! Check out the menu at www.allearsnet.com Don't get nervous about trying new places, the next new place could be your new favorite!

You'll enjoy and have a magical time!

It's my favorite WDW restaurant! Good food, wide assortment, American & African foods, & it's a good reason to visit the Animal Kingdom Lodge!

I LOVE Boma.
I could survive on the peanut rice alone. :lmao:

The different sauces you can put on the beef are great.
Chef TJ is great.
Everything about it is great. Go - have fun!

This is our FAV place to eat at the World, heck we eat there at least once every trip even when we dont stay on site. YUMMY in the tummy

There is 1 word to describe Boma.. YUMMY :goodvibes

Its my favorite WDW restaurant .. The different rice's (Koconut/peanut etc) are just lovely. And the nut crusted salmon is so nice that i have the recipe to cook at home in the UK

I have to agree with everyone else. One of the best at WDW. Booked it again for our August trip.

Boma ROCKS!!! Please do give it a shot and let us know your opinion.:earsboy:

I really wanted to do Boma, but no one in our group thinks that it sounds all that exciting... :headache: We've looked at the menus on allearsnet, and also the food pics here. I'm really bummed. Some in our group wanted to do Jiko instead, but it doesn't look like we're going to do either. :(

I think Boma is really super, but don't let us influence you either way--go and decide for yourself!

Don't just think about eating at Bomas too long! I just made an ADR there yesterday for December. There was nothing within 1/2 hour of when I wanted (6:15) and after 6:45, the next opening was at 8:45! I'd recommend making an ADR now-you can always cancel it later if you change your mind.

Boma is great! be sure to save room for the dessert section, so many great sweets you will want to try them all:cool1: :cheer2:

My mother and I tried Boma together for the first time back in Feb. and we  it! I can't complain about anything there. We liked seeing the AKL also. The Zebra Domes were even yummy! (I haven't been impressed with the Dole Whips at the MK so whenever I see food items heavily promoted here I get a little leery.) Sadly, I can't get my food challenged DH to try it. This is why I went with my DM. It was a now-or-never kinda thang! BUT.....I'm still working on him.
