Help - how do I delete a thread

How do I delete a thread if it is an old one and the word "unsubscribe" does not appear underneath it? Thanks!

Are you trying to delete a thread you started? Only moderators can delete threads. You would have to contact a moderator on the board you posted the thread on.

If you are trying to unsubscribe then go to User CP and you can unsubscribe from receiving any further notices when people post.

I just want to clean out my subscribed threads box. Sometimes I go in to check something on an old thread that I have subsctibed to, and there are so many, I just can't find the few I want to keep. So I'd like to clear a bunch out. I assumed there would be a function like that, sort of like deleting old emails. Just so I reduce my subscribed threads folder to about half the size it is now.

I just go to Quick links pulldown ,subscribed threads ,Check all boxes I no longer want then at bottom of threads ,select delete from that pulldown and hit GO.
