Ok, we are having such a hard time choosing where to eat at this year.

We got Sept 30-Oct 6. We need 6 ts dinners. We will use CS for lunches.

Here is our plan.

9/30
Magic Kingdom
LTT dinner at 7:30pm

10/1
Magic Kingdom
Crystal Palace dinner at 7:15pm

10/2
Animal Kingdom
??? maybe Spoodles, Planet Hollywood or WCC???

10/3
Magic Kingdom
??? maybe 1900 Park Fare or Chef Mickeys??

10/4
Epcot
Le Cellier early dinner at 4:10pm (still going to keep trying for later one)

10/5
Epcot
Le Cellier dinner at 7:20pm

We love Le Cel and definately want to do it twice so we have it booked 2 nights in a row.

We are mainly having trouble with those 2 nights with ??? marks.

We are going to be a family of 4, hubby, myself and almost 4 year old and by then a 6 week old so we need something that will be suitable for them both. Plus we are both fairly picky. We like regular everyday type foods but want them to be good. Not into a bunch of extra sauces, veggies, etc... Just simple stuff but a good variety to pick from or maybe a good pasta or steak etc.. Some place that will accomadate picky eaters..lol

SO any ideas would be GREAT! Even if you know of a great place I did not mention but we do not have park hoppers so they need to either be at the park we are in that day or at a resort. :)

Thanks for any ideas!! :goodvibes

WE are very picky eaters as well! Have you ever had LTT, I havn't heard the best reviews from there for dinner, but we liked there lunch. But here are some of our favorites.

The M.K area-
WCC- We love there burgers and cornbread at dinner
Kona Cafe- great salads and steak
Concorse steakhouse(we love LeCellier/ but this is second best)
(never been, but have heard good things about Grand Floridian Cafe)

Animal Kingdom-
We all love Rainforest(IDK if they take DDP)

MGM-
We love Sci-Fi there burgers are good and its a fun place.
Mama Melrose is also great for pasta.

Cape May buffet - Is our Favorite buffet.
Espn was good too (basic plain food what we like) and the kids liked playing playstation at the table for free.

Epcot- LeCellier (Our Favorite place in WDW)

We also enjoyed Ragalan road and Planet hollywood

Thanks so much! :) Love the ideas!

Anyone else?? We are polling here..hehe

My 5 year old son really liked Chef Mickey's. The food was simple and it was things that my son was used to. Mickey and the characters were GREAT. It can get a little loud.

WCC can get a bit loud too. Does your six week old mind a lot of noise? My son really enjoyed the stick horse races, but it can get a little rowdy, but all in having fun.

I'd do Boma on your Animal Kingdom night.

I haven't been to dinner at Cinderella's Gala Feast @ 1900 Park Fare, but I've heard great reviews and we'll be going during this coming trip. I think I'd choose that over Chef Mickey's, but I'm sure they'd both be great.

We love Spoodles, but as the poster above mentioned, Boma would be a great choice for that day, too.

On the 3rd day, what about WCC, Grand Floridian Cafe or Kona? All are a short ride from MK. I'm not sure about 3 character meals in a row.

On your first day at Epcot, you could walk or take the boat over to Spoodles and have dinner there. Also, Rose and Crown may be a good choice instead of Le Cellier twice.

FYI, Disney restaurants are very good about leaving off sauces, changing veggies, etc. All you have to do is ask! :)

We LOVE LTT. As for the ??? we like 1900 over Chef Mickey's and you can eat at a Planet Hollywood anywhere. They're all over the place. I'd go with Spoodles or WCC. But that's just me. :)

I would do Spoodles on 10/2 then from MK on 10/3 I'd take the boat to WL and do WCC.

IMO LTT is not a good choice: I would go to either Chef Mickey or 1900Park Faire instead of LTT. Reasons: better food selection at the buffets, better interaction with characters, better dessert selection

For the night you could not decide between CM and 1900PF, see above and then eat at your second choice.

IMO, WCC is a better place for dinner, especially if you want the Disney family experience. You cannot get this experience at home. .

have fun\

Thanks for all the ideas guys! We are still undecided but hopefully tonight we will come to more of a decision.

As for not going to LTT, we have to go there. Our son LOVED it last year and it is on the very top of hubbys list after Le Cellier. We had a great exp there last year so I know we will keep it. :)

Then as for not doing Le Cel twice..heck we would do Le Cel 3 or 4 times if we were going to the parks that much..lol :goodvibes We LOVE that place more than anywhere at Disney!

We did do WCC last year and while it was ok we were just not overly impressed. The steaks were kinda fatty. We did have a great waiter though who made me a special plate of cheese fries. Plus the milkshakes were great and we liked getting to go to the WL. It was a cool place. :) So that is why we are giving that one more thought again. Just not too sure the food is going to be what we want or not. Maybe we will try the platter this time if we go there.

With Spoodles, I thought the menu sounded like what we could work with but then after seeing pics of people's food it sure did not look that great..lol So we have been torn on that one? Anyone really love Spoodles??

1900 Park Fare and Chef Mickeys... we would like to do one or the other I think. We may do CM since we have a boy but I kinda thought 1900 PF looked like it had more to choose from on the buffet. Which would you say is best for a picky eater??

Planet Hollywood... we did this one last year as well and we loved it b/c it was all our normal kinds of food and it was so good and soooo much. We could not believe all we got there. So while I am not wild about taking my kids to such a very loud place I almost hate to pass a meal up we know we will love. Then again, like somebody said, there is nothing Disney about PH and we would really love to have more Disney themes. :)

So, there is some of the clutter in my head..lol Any help? :confused3 :rolleyes1

the schedule sounds great, but instead Planet Hollywood, may i suggest rainforest cafe? it is a great place for little ones with lots of jungle animals and it keeps their attention off of the wait for food and the menu is so delicious!!!

I would LOVE to do Rainforest Cafe. I know my son would love it!! However it is not on the dining plan so it is not a choice. I sooo wish it were. :) Thanks for the suggestion though. :goodvibes

Hmm.. so we are thinking CM would be great but the only reason hubby does not want to go there is b/c from the pics it looks like it is just thrown in the middle of a hotel and not closed off and nice.. TRUE???
