I haven't been to DL for over 15 years and now we will be going for 3 days this next week. I am going with my family - 3 kiddos 12, 12, and 9. We aren't staying at a local hotel, but will be driving in from a condo near the beach. Any help and advice would be wonderful. We will be there the on 6/3, 6/6 6/10. I don't ride many rides so I will be the FP runner. Any plans or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Park in the Toy Story lot on South Harbor, since you are driving this will get you to the park gates faster.

Also if you are trying to make park opening, consider going South on Harbor from the I-5 exit onto Ball Road or go up Harbor and make a U turn at the intersection with Manchester. Just past the bus entrance to DLR is a drop off loop that you can get into only from the Southbound direction. Drop off everyone and go to the Toy Story Lot, then take the shuttle to the gates and meet them in line.

Just know that those dates will be busy. Get a Fast Pass in DL for the reopening Star Tours first, then probably the next FP for Space Mountain or Indy.

Also Disney California Adventure opens later (9:30am) than DL so you can hop over for it's opening. Look for the Soaring over California and then California Screemin FPs first.

Not to scare just prepare you, but you are aware that June 3 is the opening of two major rides? Little Mermaid at DCA and the revamped Star Tours?

It will likely be a little crazy that day and really all summer. I myself would be cool going on June 3. But if I had a choice I might choose a different day. If not, then June 3 would be a go. Just be mentally prepared and have a game plan of some sort and you will be good.

Quick question- Where exactly is the toy story parking lot located?
TIA

I didn't know that. We will be in California 6/2 - 6/12 and have a 3 day park hopper. We don't have any other commitments except on that Tuesday 6/7. What 3 days would you suggest would be the best? Thanks!!

Ideally go midweek. But Thursday and Friday the 8th and 9th are Grad Nights. This means the parks will close early.

I would be inclined to go the 5th 6th and 10th. Using your Morning Magic entry on the 5th.

With the way the blockouts work and the grad night schedule, I would be tempted to choose June 4, 10 and 11.
