Help have to cancel a reservation.

Hi Everyone,

I have a question I hope someone can answer. We have our resort reservation in June for 3 studios at BWV. Now my brother can't make it so we have to cancel one of the rooms. We use some banked points and current years points. Not sure how this will work. My question is this should I try to cancel the newest points? Should I call Member Services or try to modify it myself? I want to make sure I get the most time to use those points. Has this happen to anyone?

Call MS and ask them to use the banked points first and to cancel one studio. If you try to modify, you probably won't be able to make sure the banked points are used first. Then if you have current year points you can't use right now, you can bank them yourself on line as long as you are four month out or more from the end of your UY. MS will take care of you.

Next time you have a DVC question, you might want to post it on one of the DVC Boards so you get the right answer right away. Good Luck.
