The only thing I'd be concerned about extending a credit is if SW going out of business down the line.
I'm putting positive vibes out there for SW to stay fiscally healthy! Blessings, Sandra![]()

How do I go about changing to the lower fare
Do I end up with just a credit for the $20/flight difference, or for the whole amount
You can change out the tickets right on the Southwest website. Use the Change air Reservation page. Basically you will be repicking the same flight only now the tickets are cheaper. As you go through the screens, it eventually 'reconciles' the bill and you will be left with a credit for the difference. This credit will need to be used for travel which occurs within 12 months of the original purchase date
