Help! going to WDW with diabetes....

Talking hands,I could be wrong but I thought potatoes contained a lot of sugar too. In Idaho during proabition they made vodka from the potatoes that was so strong it blinded many people. And I though it was the high sugar content that made it possible to make the vodka??

I agree with talking hands a normal well balanced diet is what my Dr. reccomended to get back to a normal bloodsugar.

I would get a second opinion on that potatoe diet??

Potato is pure starch. Starch breaks down into simple sugars which is why they can use it to make alcohol. REsason we can't deal well with starchy vegetables and breads is the fact that in the end it breaks down to plain old sugar.
