My spousal unit and I will be (hopefully) having a nice romantic dinner at the French restaurant at Epcot. Question is which one, Chefs de France or the Bistro de France and any menu recommendations?

Sorry I don't have any menu recommendations. We're eating there for the first time ourselves. From what I have read about both, it sounds like Bistro might be a little more romantic.

I second the Bistro motion. Personally, I was not impressed with Chefs.....though other people seem t love it.

The Bistro is definitely the choice for a romantic dinner for two. Chefs is a lot noisier and a little more fast paced. The menu at Chefs is more traditional French Cuisine whereas the menu at Bistro is more gourmet. I have always found the food to be very good a both but Bistro is definitely more intimate and perfect for a special occasion.

Bistro was truly gourmet. Really loved the consumme, hubby had the steak, I think I had either duck or lamb. DD had the dessert sampler. DD loved MY soup! Ate most of it. One of the best meals I've had. We were also able to see the fireworks from the windows. Very romantic.

Chefs is also good. As someone said, not that romantic. Onion soup, steak, croque. Last time, we did the lunch sampler and it was quite tasty.

You can't miss with either, but Bistro is a much nicer and leisurely experience for dinner.
