Help FP+ issue here today

We went to animal kingdom this morning and used 2 fp...now at Epcot just got it in line now..went to grab soarin I get message I can't because I've already had this tier...please help

If you used a Tier 1 at AK, the FP system may have been tweaked or it is glitching.

Book a FP for the closest Tier 2 ride and tap out at the touch point, walk away after tapping and then book Soarin.’

Only 4th FPs (and beyond) are not subject to tiering limitations. Scheduling less than 3 FPs for a day is not a shortcut to getting additional Group 1 FPs in the same park faster.

So if you didn't use a tier 1 at AK then that is the issue. You must use, or let expire, your first 3 to be able to get another tier 1

But that hasn’t applied to park hopping in the past.

Disney may have tweaked the park hopping open tiering access...park hopping guests could have Tier 1s in 3 different parks when hopping after using their initial Tier 1.

We used EE and KS then grabbed it...waiting in line now...we'd like soarin but it says I've used this tier need to pick 2 more from other levels I didn't think this was supposed to happen...super bummed

Ok. It sounds like your account reset your FPs for Epcot. So, book 2 Tier 2s and tap and move the other up and tap. Then book Soarin.

To work around this issue - potentially in the future:

Should/Can you book your Tier 1 FP at park #2 prior to tapping in for your first park #1?

This is obviously assuming you have only 2 FPs or less at Park #1

No. The FP system has to “know” you are in a park so you need to tap into the FP line for FP#1 before booking for Park#2.

Ok so we did that rode spaceship earth...grabbed a figment and modified...tapped and left still says we have figment...it's just not our day

I’ve had issues at Epcot with fastpasses today. At Soarin’ it only said 1 of us had tapped even though the Mickey head turned green for all 3 of us so after we’d ridden the other 2 went and tapped again and it worked and we were able to get 4th fastpasses after that.

The system is glitching; another poster has reported “used” FPs aren’t clearing the system.

Try Modifying Figment to another Tier2 and tap out again if you are close to something, but, I believe Soarin’ is gone for the day.

Yes, I can report first hand that there is an issue with the FP+ system today. We were in AK this morning and were having all kinds of issues. The 5 of us did Primevil Whirl and it only showed 2 of us tapped in. Then we did Lion King and it only showed 1 out of 5 tapped in. Then we did Kali and showed 3 of us tapped in. CM said this has been an issue all day...

Issues today here as well, at HS today, Star Tours was our third FP, but even after tapping it wouldn’t allow me to try booking another, had to wait until the hour window expired.

When we were there last week, it was a little glitchy, would not clear a used FP.
I signed out and then back in, it finally dropped off.

So I talked to a cm...system is glitchy due to the amount of ppl using fp+ system due to rider swap...apparently it's causing the track issues and glitches

Having added the capability and pushed a new app upgrade could also have introduced new issues.

MDE is a mess today, not just FPs. At least I am sitting at home trying to move things around - I feel for everyone who is onsite and missing out on FPs because of it.
