Help for UK Trip Planning

I'm hoping somone may provide me with some assistance. I am planning a trip to London and the surrounding area this summer for our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children). I am looking for resources to help me plan the trip. Maybe some websites with some suggestions for tours, how best to get around town, suggestions for side trips.

I don't know where else to look at this point. Any ideas? Thanks.

How old are your children ?

Are there any particular places in London (and surrounding) that you wish to see ? EG London Eye, Tower of London.

Will you be hiring a car or using public transport ?
