My Brother is looking to take his daughter to WDW on 19th July (1st week of summer hols) for just one week. The Virgin website is quoting £2000 + :scared1:
Anyone any ideas where to look for a better deal? He wants to stay onsite and doesn't want a car.
Thanks:)

Hiya -
I don't think that is unreasonable for an on site stay at that time of year, but... if you look online just google florida disney accommodation and see where you go - you can use up MANY MANY hours this way.... my hubby becomes a google widower in holiday planning season.

One to get an idea of room prices is www.travelrepublic.co.uk - you are looking at £600+ for that week for room only for 2 people at a Disney value resort. Flights WILL be pricey - especially with the increase in fuel surcharge and it being in school holidays.... then there's theme park tickets too....

What is that price for? A package including accommodation with Virgin Holidays? If so, which resort? There are ways to make significant savings by booking the individual elements separately.

A quick look at Expedia shows flights starting at just under £800 each from Manchester for that week - so not sure how much saving you could make on the price. The flights were indirect as well.
