Hi- My sister has stage 4 cancer and is undergoing chemo. Her family (self, husband, DD20 and DD13) are going to Disney next week. I have helped them understand the FP+ system and we have reservations made for them. I am trying to understand how things will work for them and have some questions...
1. She will be in a wheelchair. For attractions without a handicap accessible queue, like Peter Pan/It's a small world/space mountain..., instead of just arriving at the attraction and entering through an alternate entrance (FP?), are they now issued a return time to come back to that alternate entrance?
2. If she also has a DAS for other issues (not sure on that yet because they aren't there to ask yet), will the above return time prohibit them getting a DAS card return time until the above is used?
3. Would you recommend using her FP+ for rides that DO have handicap accessible queues since she can't get a return time for those but she can for the ones without accessible queues (if what I am asking in 1 is correct)?
4. How far before parade or fireworks do you think they need to get to the handicap viewing area if they want to watch from there?
Thank you in advance for any help you can give me on those questions. Other suggestions for things we might not have thought of are also more than welcome!
