help for hotels at disneyland/seaworld

Hi, i'll make this quick. vacation is from Sept 25 to oct 2nd. Currently booked 7 nights at good neighbor hotel. We are having Disney park days on sunday to Wednesday and then again on Saturday. Visiting LEGOLAND Wednesday and seaworld Friday. Would it make more sense to change the Thursday night hotel to be in Sandiego to avoid driving back and forth? On the surface to me it looks like a good idea, but lots of eyes here might see a flaw I am not. thanks.

If you are spending two days in the SD area, then I would get a hotel there. Depending on traffic it could take you 2 or more hours each way between Anaheim and SD.

We put San Diego at the end of our trip and flew home from that airport.

We cannot end our trip on San Diego due to other circumstances, we are meeting a family in disneyland on the last day. So we will have 2 days in the San Diego area, sounds like maybe switching the Thursday night hotel there makes sense
