Help for car rental 1st week in Dec - from Tampa?

Wow, I did a quick search for a car rental 1st week in Dec. - why is it almost $300 for a mid size. Anyone have any special codes I could use. We're flying in/out of Tampa. Thanks!

Howdy! Only codes I'm aware of are for Dollar rental. Try entering the code ENTERTAIN or fish for some discounted rates. These codes come from others on this site who have used them successfully. I got a rental car for Dec. 7th thru the 14th for 125 bucks from TPA(before taxes) for a compact using the ENTERTAIN code. I think there are a few other codes, try www.mousesavers.com and look under the rental car section.
