I am new to this and am about to make my first shirts. I have a question for all you experts out there. I just had awesome Mickey head designs with all of our names made by Taekwondo mom for an upcoming trip. I have read dark transfers look better so I was thinking of doing them all on grey shirts. I think then it will show in a white box becasue the words WDW are undernreath the design. Would that look OK? Would I be better off printing on light transfers on white shirts? What would you do?

Use the Dark transfer paper and to avoid the "White Box" look, just trim the paper BEFORE you pull the backing off. You don't have to be exact, IMO I think that a small white border around the design really sets it off from the shirt.
