Help for a Newbie - Please!!!

Wow! All of the projects here are AMAZING! Someone posted the Solar Flare shirts and another forum - we made them and love how they turned out! This is my first visit to this forum and would love to make some shirts for our November trip (I hope it's not too late).

I'm taking 2 friends for their first (and probably only) trip to WDW and would love to have some kind of "First Visit" shirt for them. I love the design by Julia&NicksMom of the Mickey silhouette with the castle inside it and would love to have the first trip message added to it.

How do I go about doing this? Thanks so much for your help. I'm very impressed with your creativity!!!! What other projects would you suggest?

Be careful ... before you know it you will be addicted and have more projects lined up than you know how to get done!

The designers here are amazing! If you see something you would like personalized, you can post in their threads, or PM them. These guys are incredible - my experience has been that they get back to you very quickly with wonderful designs. So far, I have designs that I am using to make iron-on t-shirts, pillow cases (for our cruise - hopefully to have signed), Epcot Passports for my kids (from Pats thread - they are incredible!) door magnets for our cruise, and we have made mickey head tie dye tees from instructions and advice in this forum.

Have fun browsing and dreaming of projects to make you trip even more magical!

Thanks! I will PM Julia&NicksMom and see if she can do a design for me. Is there a link with step-by-step instructions on what exactly to do? I know we don't have loads of time (good because we can't wait to go, bad because I can't make too many things!) so I'll probably just do 1 shirt for each right now.

Look in the Creative Designs Thread and read the Stickys at the top. Baloo did an excellent job of putting everything in one place and you should find most of your answers there.

Thanks! I read through the Stickeys at the top and they do explain quite a bit! I PM'd Nick & Julia's Mom a few days ago and haven't heard anything - do you know if she's still doing designs? If not, how can I use her design and add some wording to it? How long should I wait for a response from her? I don't mean to be pushy, but our trip is coming up quickly! Thanks!
