Help for a newbie! Easy way from AKL to MK?:

Hello! Please could you help me plan the easiest way of transportation from Animal Kingdom Lodge to Magic Kingdom? We are thinking of going in March 2011. You know how long it takes to get there? I have no idea how long it would take. I'm worried because we have a reservation at Royal Table Cinderella at 8:30 am. This is my first trip to WDW so any information, recommendations or suggestions are helpful. Thanks for all who are so well informed and ready to help!

Take the bus. Takes around 45 minutes at most. They start running about two hours before the park opens.

I would be at the bus stop by 7:30. That will give you plenty of time to get there and still have time to get some pictures of a practically empty Main Street.

You are going to find that getting around WDW is really pretty easy, especially when traveling between resorts and parks. The buses start running by 6:30am, every morning, from the resorts to the parks. They don't run quite as frequently as the regular buses do, so plan accordingly.
For an 8:30 ADR, at CRT, you need to be at MK by 8am. So, be out at the MK bus stop, at AKL, by 7ish. Yes, you may get to MK early, but it's nice to have some time to take photos on the empty street...at least it will be empty if there aren't any EMHs that morning.
