Help finding cheapest holiday!

So, I know a few people doing the ICP this summer (June 20th-September 3rd) and I'm planning on going alone to see them out there since I didn't make it on to the program. But so far it's been so much hassle! I didn't realise how much harder it is to book holidays for one person rather than two. When I stayed at the Pop last year with my DGF, it was so much easier to find the cheapest deal.

So here are my requirements:
I don't want to spend over £1000 on flight + hotel.
Considering I'll be a 19 year old girl travelling alone, I'm only considering staying onsite. Plus, offsite has never appealed to me. I'm looking at Pop without dining, or Port Orleans/other moderate with free QSDP.
It seems that with UK travel agents, late June and early July are the cheapest. But I much prefer late August/early September for crowds, and flight only seems to be slightly cheaper than June there, when looking at US airline companies.
I'd rather go for two weeks, and if I can find a deal that's not much more than the price for one week, then I might just consider it.

My brother is a travel agent at Thomas Cook so he's going to look and see if he can find anything for me when I get home from uni next week. But I just wondered if anybody had seen any good deals lately. Virgin have a few in June, but they seem to only be cheap for two people sharing.

Failing all that, if anybody wants to come with me to make the price cheaper, feel free :rotfl:

Looking at your dates, I think you might struggle to find an onsite hotel+flight for £1000. Does this budget include tickets?

I don't know if you've read any of the flight price threads but they have generally been insane this year. I think your best bet would be to look at late August. This is when DBF and I are going and we paid £417 each for Virgin flights (miles+money). We booked our hotel+DDP+tickets package with Disney UK and our flights directly with Virgin.

Yeah my brother said it's because travel companies are encouraging people to book packages, so the flight only prices are highger :sad2:

On the Disney UK website it's £383 for the Pop Century for a week, with no tickets or DDP. I'm considering getting US Magic Your Way park Hoppers because I won't be going to the water parks or Disney Quest, and I've found them for about £180-190 with the current exchange rate. The cheapest flight I've found so far is £440ish with Continental. This puts me at just over £1000 depending on the tickets. This is the option that seems the best at the moment, but Thomas Cook has packages without tickets for under £1000 that I may be able to book with a discount from my brother and get for cheaper.

I think around £1000 is the cheapest I'm going to get it, so I'll probably go with the separate bits put together. But if anybody does see cheap summer packages anywhere I'd love to know!
