I am looking at taking my wife, son (who will be almost 3) and daughter (who will be a little older than a year) to Disney on Spring Break? (Right after Easter.) I do have realistic expectatation about what it will be like with 2 kids that young.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for accomodations? I am interested in something like a condo - where we have our own place, washer/dryer, stove, oven, refrigerator- close to Disney. We of course are looking to keep cost down. We know rental condos will be expensive that time of year.

(My wife remembers staying somewhere near Kissimmee in the woods with cabins like that - ring a bell anyone?)

I would appreciate any help that you have to offer - thanks!

wrong board - come visit us on the Orlando hotels & attractions boards.

skyauction.com can be a pretty good - you need at least a 1-bedroom (so don't bid on studios or hotel rooms).

my reference stuff is at work not near but here are some places to start
www.floridakiss.com

www.orlandoinfo.com

you might also consider a house.

www.cypresspointe.com

close to downtown disney and moderately priced.

Great rates on hotelkingdom.com

AAlso, the Marriott Residence Inn hotels have spacioius 2 br 2 bath units, with kitchen (no w/d tho) full breakfast. Also, any of the Marriott timeshares are nice int he area.

I've booked timeshare/condo accomodations twice through www.skyauction.com. They have great prices and the accomodations have been gorgeous. I've gotten a two bedroom unit for $199.00 per week both times that slept 8 guests, with full kitchen. They have both been very close to WDW. You are not required to attend any timeshare presentation. ---Kathy

You can also check out the DVC board and rent a 1 bedroom. I know OKW was available when I checked yesterday

Disney's Fort Wilderness Campground has cabins in the woods with full kitchens, bedroom with full size bed and bunk beds, living room with full size murphy bed. No washer/dryer, but the resort has them onsite. Also look into a 1 bedroom DVC resort.

Try http://www.vrbo.com or http://www.hotelkingdom.com. I have booked condos through Hotel Kingdom very inexpensively. We used vrbo to book a house for our upcoming trip Thanksgiving week. We are renting a 4 BR house for $85 a night. The website also listed tons of condos for rent. I will definitely post a report when I get back. You should probably get looking right now, as spring break week is sure to fill up quickly. Good luck.

I know it's a busy time of year but there are so many condos and suites in the Disney area you will be able to find something. We have traveled that week many times ourselves and always try to stay in a 2-bedroom unit.

Cypress Point and Cypress Point Grand Villas was already mentioned and always get great reviews here. Hotelkingdom typically has great rates and the location is great.

Many developments right outside of Disney are loaded with condos and townhomes. We typically use www.vrbo.com but there are lots of sites that will list out developments and units available.

Windsor Palms, Windsor Hills and Emerald Island are all nice developments that are very close to Disney. You can find a nice, reasonably priced 2 bedroom unit that will also give you a kitchen and washer/dryer.

We had great luck with Skyauction but for that time of year I wouldn't count on a high supply of accomodations to be available. I would check some of the other options out first.

Good luck and I think you'll enjoy the extra space.

We are renting a 2 bedroom at Cypress Pointe Phase 1 during Feb vacation week for about $99/night thru Hotel Kingdom.
