How can I get hot water to make a cup of tea while in the parks? I'll have teabags with me(Green Chai-sooo yummy!) so I really just need access to a cup of hot water. Anyone know where I could get some? Or anyone know of restauants that offer hot green teas? I'd love to keep them in mind if I am not able to find hot water for my own teabags.

I know that Epcot has a place called Joy of Tea in World showcase that serves hot green tea.

Also- Check out the tea at Sanaa in Animal Kingdom Lodge- it's supposed to be great!

I am a tea drinker but don't usually have it in the parks. I would recommend going to any of the stands that sell coffee and see if they have hot water. It is pretty rare that anyplace that sells coffee won't have hot water. This is especially true of any place that sells cappuccino since the steam wand used for the milk can head some water just as well.

You might be interested in the Garden View Lounge at the Grand Floridian which offers afternoon tea. Info available here and here.

In Animal Kingdom there is the Aramadarmapor (sp??) tea place. It is a "cart"/kiosk on the way to Kali River Rapids. It was warm when we went, so--even though I love hot tea and drink at least 4 cups/day--I didn't want it then. I had a great iced black tea, but I believe they had green, too. This is also the only place in all of DW to get the frozen chai. It is like a chai slush. I'm not a fan of chai, but DH is and he LOVED it--he's already talked about getting it again this year.

Just ask about the hot water at CS or TS if you're bringing your own tea bags. If you're staying CL they will have hot water (and tea bags) in the lounge.

Have a great trip!

Wer did DDP last year, and I'm a massive green tea drinker too. Never had it in the parks, far too warm in my opinion, but most TS restaurants have it on the menu and you can get it as your drink :) Personally I just used to get iced water for with the meal and have the green tea afterwards, which still counts. Hope you're able to get your tea fix and have a wonderful trip ;)

Thanks! I'm starting to think that yes, it will be getting hot out, and I may not need it as often as I drink it now. Those restaurants you all mentioned sound great to try one of theirs. I will be on DDP, so a glass of water and a cup of hot green tea as my drinks may work out well!
