Help! Explain how to book split stays??

Can someone explain how to book split stays??


Are they separate mini "packages" each with their own tickets? Or do you get a "package" for one and "room only" for the second?

I am quite confused !

We just booked our first split stay for July 2006 with our AAA. We're getting the Magic Your Way package attached on to the first resort. The 2nd resort was done as a room only. That means that our "keys to the world" cards with our first resort will have all our information on it for parks, etc. We'll keep those cards even when we go to the 2nd resort. If you are using a travel agent, they can help make it clearer. Our AAA agent is the same one we use each year so that helps. Good luck.
