Help excursions are all booked Tortola & st Thomas

My kids are 3,7, and 11. I’m just looking for fun activities for the whole family. Right now I’m thinking of taking a ferry to Jost Van Dyke or the baths. St Thomas I’m thinking coral world or Megan’s bay. I feel like I’ve blown my family’s once in a lifetime Disney cruise. We sail June 25 on the fantasy. Please help!

It's possible the excursions haven't been released yet. Some vendors are short on staff and/or impacted by illness, and I believe DCL has been opening some excursions for booking later than usual. Check with your cruise group if others have been able to book or not.

We used Capt Malcolm with Sunshine Powerboats in Tortola in 2020 and it was amazing. He got us to the baths before the ferry did so we had them pretty much to ourselves for a good hour. After the baths, we did a few snorkel spots, a spot to see turtles (my daughter's request), lunch and a beach. We will be booking him again for our 2023 cruise that goes to Tortola. The only thing is that we had to swim into the baths so that may be hard with a 3 year old. My kids were 9 & 11 at the time.

I think taxi rates are governed pretty strictly in St Thomas to where you can take a cab nearly anywhere for a pretty standard rate (no matter which cab). So, finding a destination without Disney's help should be doable.

I'd say it is pretty easy to get around St. Thomas without Disney and book a good excursion. I've been there twice now (once for a week on my honeymoon in 2011 and then in 2019 on the Fantasy). We liked Magens and although we didn't go to Coral World, we did go to Coki Beach for the day (which is right next door) and also had a good time there.

We did Tropical Treasure Hunt last time we were in St Thomas and loved it. You follow clues around St Thomas that lead to a beach with buried treasure. The company takes care of your transportation and water and snacks along the way. Our kids were 10 and 8 at the time.
