help, etour redemption for ebates!

i already redeemed for ebates with etour about 1.5 months ago, but my bf hasn't done so yet. he needs help 'cause he had trouble redeeming his.

he changed his email address on the etour account 2 weeks ago (his old email account shut down), and then that same day redeemed for the Ebates reward.
he never got an email from etour with instructions and that special link you're supposed to use to get the reward.

i went back to my old email, and looked at the one etour sent me, and i'm suspecting that maybe it's a generic link which can be used by any etour member to enroll at ebates.

for those of you ex-etour members who did this redemption, does anyone have friends or family members who are also ex-etour members that redeemed for Ebates?

what i'm trying to say is, did anyone notice that the URL in the email w/ redemption instructions look like the exact same URL for both you and your friend, DH, DS, DD, etc.?

btw, anyone who's confused, please reply or PM me if you don't understand what i'm asking.
i'm having trouble explaining this concisely for some reason... *sigh*

also, please DO NOT post the URL here in the thread, as it is supposed to be for old etour members only, and i don't want to cause any trouble thanks in advance, all.

The initial link is the same for me and my dad's, if that helps you any. We use the same computer but have different email addresses.
