help! don't know what to get DD5 for birthday!!

any suggestions! her birthday is May 1st. I want something fun but a little special to give her. This is the first time we are giving her a bday party and the first time we want to give her a Big Gift, since we always felt before that she would not remember it. We always had small family parties for her and just gave her lots of little presents.

THAT"S MY BIRTHDAY TOO. What about a first piece of jewery. A birthstone ring or charm braclet or locket.

BTW. You might not want to give a special gift at her party. It will just get jumbled with the other gifts. Perhaps the morning of her B-day or right after the party.

A bounce house for the backyard! We got an awesome one from Costco last year. It is huge!!! The kids love it!

I'd say go with something FUN! Maybe a bike, scooter, trampoline, swing, play house.. Something fun that "keeps on giving"!

How about one of the Italian charm bracelets. This would be great because you could give her a new charm every year for her birthday. Each year the charm could represent her interests from that year. Like one year if she is into skating you could get her a skate. Start with her initial and a birthstone or something for this year.

I am soooo shocked. I just talked to my DH and he took care of her bday present...I could almost cry...we are getting her.....a pony!!!! A baby pony!!! (We have a farm so this is a perfectly fine thing for me.) I do love my husband. The baby won't be able to leave its mother until Aug/Sept but it is on a farm right up the road so either we can take it and keep the mommy until weaning time or we can just go and visit it alot. But I have already gotten her an outfit from the Disney Store and I was planning on getting a new net for our basketball net (it is one of those adjustable ones) and a new basketball for us to start playing a little with her. I was trying to think of something outdoorsy for us to have for this summer. But the baby pony is the present of all presents for a little farm girl.

Wow! My son would be SOO jealous. He all he wants is a horse!
and we only live on 1/2 an acre.. not enough room for a horse
