HELP Disney Wedding Transportation

Hello all!

I have a question regarding Escape Disney Weddings. This is my first post and I am hoping that a few of you with previous experience will be able to advise me.

I will be staying at the Grand Floridan Resort and getting married at the wedding pavilion. Will I need to use the limo transportation included?

Hi Lauren--

From what I recall about what the website says about Escape--limousine transportation is included--but not for ALL of your guests. I want to say the limo can take like 8 people?

Originally I was going to do an Escape ceremony--but decided against it. i seem to remember them telling me about the limo. So, you'll be able to get yourself and your bridal party there, probably--but probably not all of your guests (unless it's like 8-10 people).

Are you asking if it's necessary...like you might walk from the GF to the Wedding Pavilion?

You can walk if you wanted to from GF to the WP and use your limo service later, like say to your dinner reservations. I walked there as a wedding guest but not sure I'd want to in my actual dress (and this is before the Villas went in, so I don't even know what the walk is like now).

The limo can make multiple trips to pick up the wedding party and guests, if necessary.

This is what we used our limo for. We had guests staying at POR and CBR and we used the limo to pick them up and bring them to BW for the wedding then to AKL for the dinner reception.

Thanks everyone for your info!

I’m thinking it over if to have a transportation upgrade or not.
I like the idea of having the horse- dawn coach for pictures, but unsure due to the limited time you actually spend in it for the cost.

If we choose to go ahead with the horse-dawn coach, does anybody know if the limousine is still available to my guests? (I'm a little confused, as the Limousine is already included in the Escape Package )

I'm just wondering, could the Limo pick people up from off property? My Family will be staying in a villa in Kissimmee.

It did cross my mind to walk from Grand Floridian to the WP as we are staying there. However after thinking it over, it’s probably longer than it looks when you're all dressed up!

If you add a carriage, you pay full price for it, so you still get the limo that comes with the package. They don't swap it. The limo can go off property, but you may need to pay for extra time depending on how far off property and how long you need it after the ceremony. 8-passenger one-way vans ($40) may work out to be cheaper than adding limo time.
