I just got my Visa today but, I don't see a code.... plenty of information on earning points etc. but, no code that I can see. Please help where do I get the code? do I just call and tell them I am a new card holder and would like the special?

Thanks in advance, I want to see if I can get a good rate for part of the our stay, I have ressies at POR but, wonder if I can get a better price.

Keep Smiling

The way I understand it, it is for a certain targeted area. Not necessarily all new card holders, right???

This code is available to all Disney Visa card holders--room only rate--this is from Mousesavers:

Disney's Visa cardholders can ask for Code CTV and get special room-only rates for stays 4/18/04-7/4/04. Save $30 per night at Value resorts, $55 per night at Moderate resorts, and $105 per night at Deluxe resorts. Sample rates:

Ft. Wilderness - $45 full hookup campsite, $164 cabin
Value resorts - $69 standard
Moderate resorts - $89 standard
Animal Kingdom Lodge - $134 standard, $155 pool view, $210 savannah view
Contemporary - $159 garden wing standard, $180 garden view, $265 tower
Polynesian - $239 garden view, $325 lagoon view
Boardwalk, Beach/Yacht Club - $224 standard, $290 water view, $375 concierge garden view, $425 concierge water view
Other resorts, room types and views are available at varying prices!

You can call Bank One to see if you qualify for the 7 for 4 deal and if not the code above is pretty good too.

I got my card today and called about the 7 for 4 deal. They told me that anyone who has applied recently was eligible for that deal.

I found the CCA code for Disney Visa card holders was a better rate. I found this on Mousesavers also. I just got a standard room for one night at Pop for 60.21 which includes tax, etc. this is only good until 3/19 I believe for reservations thru 7/4.

It says CCA is for FL residents who have the Disney Visa. You ight want to call back to check on the eligibility because they do check you ID at check in. If your not a FL resident they might not give you the rate then. I would hate to see you lose a discount and pay rack rate.

If you go to bankone.com/disney, you can sign up for the internet banking with the card. In there, under current offers, you can see all the offers that you are eligible for, depending on where you live. It separates it to WDW, DL, DCL, and other categories. I find that this is faster to see what offers are out there than having to wait for the mailings or for my statement to come in the mail every month.

I just checked back on my reservations with the CCA code and they said I was all set. I asked about id, etc and they said since the room is all paid for we don't need any. they can see from when I made the reservation that I am not from Florida. I got the person's name, date and time that I spoke to her so if there are any questions I will go backon that. However since it's only one night they have already charged it and I will wait for my confirmation to see what else it says. Thanks for the warning.

I just made a reservation with the CCA discount and you absolutely have to be a Florida resident.. in fact, the woman on the phone said that you will have to present an ID on check in for the rate to be valid, and she warned me of that before even getting in-depth on looking up the reservation. She said that the computer says that right when you enter the code. You may just want to call back and verify, because the person working behind the desk when you check in won't be able to help you if you don't have a FL ID ... the reason I say this is because once when I was checking in for a stay at Port Orleans, the person next to me was checking in for an Annual Passholder rate - to make a long story short, they didn't have an Annual Pass, and if they wanted that rate they had to go buy one (which is what they ended up doing), but they kind of tried to argue their way into the rate, and said that nobody said that they had to have an AP to get the rate when they made the reservation...but the person behind the desk would not waver and they couldn't get the rate unless they produced the AP. If they didn't get the AP, they would have had to pay the Rack Rate on the room... which everyone knows is nowhere near the savings of an AP rate or any other code rates.

I know that Mousesavers definitely says that you have to be a FL resident as well. There are other codes that you can use to get a savings (mainly AP rates), but I would not take a chance with this and think you can talk your way into it, as I know they are not very flexible when it comes to savings for FL residents (like if you tried to get a FL AP w/out a FL driver's license).

So, if I were you, rather than showing up and "ruining" your whole vacation due to an argument at the front desk, I would verify that you do not have to have any FL resident ID at check in. It's not worth the extra $5-$10 savings per night over some of the other non-FL codes to take a chance in not getting your rate at check in.

I have a question about this. I went to this site and under Disneyworld Resorts it says 0 offers. On Mousesavers they have the code CTV as a current code for DV holders. Is there a chance that I can't use this code?

If you are a DV cardholder you can use the CTV code if there is a room available where you want to stay.

Also, about the question about the
7/4 deal. There is no code on Mousesavers. You call CRO if you are a new DV card holder and ask CRO to call Bank One to see if you qualify.

I just booked using my Disney Visa. The code I used was given to me by the CRO person that I talked to. It was ZXRA. I got CS for 7 nights + UPH for 3 adults and 1 child for $1760. Is this a good deal? I'm new to this.

Does anyone know what are the dates you have to be a new visa memeber by? I received my new card late Feb. Would I qualify for the 7/4?

It depends on the date you applied. Call CRO and have them call Bank One to see if you qualify.

I believe you had to apply 2/5-3/31.

I don't think the rate Jcanary is getting is the FL residents/Disney Visa rate. That was 49.00 (plus tax) for value resorts. Maybe it's just the regular Disney Visa rate?!

Oops, I was wrong, I guess it was 54.00 and with tax that would make it around $60.00. It does sound like you have to be a FL Resident.

Just a heads up I received my DV on March 2nd, so I called Bank One and Disney CRO to see if we are eligible for the 7/4 package. I was told we are not eligible but we qualify for free Disney DVD. They stated it goes by the promotion invitation that you receive in the mail. I am bummed; I receive a free DVD and others are getting great package deals, this sucks!

If I were you, I'd call back CRO and have them call Bank One again. Someone else was told they didn't qualify and they called back and Bank One then said they were eligible.

Do call back - I didn't even have the code and the nice CRO gave it to me - I asked him to check on a promotion I had heard about... good luck!
