HELP!!! Disney addict trying to make a decision

That's probably why I posted here...lol So I'd be convinced that I HAD to go. My mil was going to go with us, but has decided that 10 days is too long for her to be away from my fil....so....my dh is a little nervous about us taking my 4.5yr old and my 11mo old alone(last time we went she went too and we had time to ourselves some). I still think it'd be a blast. I'll let you guys know soon...Thanks so much!

Oh, we are flying with Southwest? Not sure if they will adjust tickets later??? Anyone know?

I say go for it now if you're able. This deal happened last year around the same time and my wife and I got in on it then too. We are headed back again this September! I don't believe this particular deal is offered any other time of the year.

A WDW first hair cut........now that will be a great memory. Don't forget the photo!

Yeah, we did it for my dd 2.5yrs ago when she was 2yrs old. My ds will only be 11mo, but boys need a haircut alot sooner anyway. It was really important to me to have them both done there.

I think it was $12 and they gave her stickers, blew bubbles, haircut, wrapper her ends in a tissue with mickey confetti, gave her a certificare and mouseears that had "First Haircut" embroidered on them!!! I was SHOCKED that it was only $12 plus a tip!

GREAT MEMORIES!!! :-) I think we are booking tonight!!>..YIPEE!!!!!!!!

Oh(especially after I went back and calculated that we will spend $1k more in April than now and that's with us paying for meals and only 1 nice one a day).....Can't beat this deal!

Just be sure to make your dining reservations NOW. With everyone taking advantage of the free dining it's going to be hard to get into some places.

Im happy to hear that your booking your trip... You made the right choice..you cant go wrong w/ free dining...IMO its one of the best deals they have going... Now you will be at Disney before you know it... and hopefully every two years from this date you will get the same deal! :)

Ok, here is what we finally decided.... My mil is going with us...woohoo(ok, not a normal response for a mil, but I love her and she went last time and it was GREAT...built in babysitter). SO....we are going Sept 23-30(8 days instead of 10, so she could come), All Star Movies in a preferred location room. We are just at the 90 day mark so I can start making reservation for our eating tomorrow! I'm SOOOO Excited. Thanks to all of you :-) Can't wait now.... Now, hopefully my ds will be good(11mo at the time).

advanced reservations for dining are more like 120 days out now instead of 90 days and because of free dining you will really need those reservations. I've read that disney sit down is really getting so booked up with the meal plan customers that they turn away walk ups frequently. I booked meals for the same time frame and was able to get just about everything I wanted except Canada sit down Lacelliars and Cinderella dinner at grand floridian. Also we have 2 children over 3 so I'm using their credits to eat at more signature restaruants and then we will pay for their kids meals. This is a way we can try more places and get the most out of the meal plan. Only thing I worry about this September trip is making sure everyone stays cool enough to keep irritablity down.

Oh yikes...guess I better make reservations now then. I thought they didn't take them until 90 days before. I'll have to plan it out tomorrow morning and call.

About the heat, are you guys not used to it? I didn't think it was supposed to be that hot in Sept(or the end of sept) maybe 88 or so? average high? We're in TX, so we're used to super hot weather nearly all year round.

I'm ok about the heat and more worried about taking our 11mo old. But my dd will be 4.5yrs and with 3 adults I think we should be ok...hopefully.

I think you made the right desicision w/ free dining its jupst to good of a deal to pass up. :thumbsup2

You made a grat decision and now with 1000 dollar savings you can go again!! Oh and adr's are now 180 days in advance instead of 90 so i hope you have made them already as they are really filling up.

You made the right decision!! :cool1:

I wouldn't worry about the 11 mo-old. I've been down several times with my sisters' little ones and everything was fine. I was down last year in the beginning of September and it was hot during the day (in the 90's) but if you're from Texas - it won't matter to you!!!
