So I JUST switched our vacation from December to August of THIS year - which means I need to make my dining reservations, like, NOW lol The trip will be me, my husband, and our 1.5 year old daughter. We are definitely doing Hollywood & Vine for the Disney Jr. characters, and Akershus for the princesses. I need 3 more recommendations, please! She knows the Mickey Mouse characters, too.

If you will be in AK then go to Tusker House for lunch or dinner. They have Donald, Mickey and friends. We love Akershus so much, it is good that you are going there. Also Crystal Palace for Winnie the Pooh and characters. We love Piglet and Tigger.

Enjoy your trip.

I would recommend the Garden Grill at Epcot - the food is great and the characters are Mickey Mouse, Pluto and Chip and Dale :)

Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom would be great for the kids for a Winne the Pooh breakfast. Chefs de France in Epcot is another good one.
Le Cellier (also in Epcot) is my favorite.
Ohana is pricey, but a great family style dinner at the Poly. Also 50s Primetime Cafe in Hollywood studios is super fun since the servers are hilarious. Or the Cape May Cafe Clam Bake in the BC for dinner or breakfast with characters is also good. Have a great trip!

PHDIS at HS and Akershus are great choices. I would also recommend Crystal Palace and at least one of: Chef Mickey's, Tusker House, or Goofy's Cape May Breakfast to see Mickey, Minnie, Donald, etc. I think based on your daughter's age, that will cover lots of the "main" characters without repeating too much.

Not sure if you're looking for breakfast or dinner, but our favorite for breakfast is Cape May at the BC.

I would definitely recommend the breakfast in Norway over lunch or dinner! Crystal Palace for any meal. Ohana for supper(never been to character breakfast there). 50's primetime cafe or Scfi dine in theater are good at DHS. Chef Mickey's is decent as well. Whispering Canyon cafe in Wilderness Lodge is one of our favorites as well. HTH!

I LOVE the Garden Grill at Epcot, great character interaction (Mickey, Pluto, Chip & Dale). I'm trying Cape May Cafe for breakfast and 1900 Park Fare with Cinderella for dinner- both for the first time.

Are you doing ALL the ADRs as character meals? Have you tested whether DD tolerated the HUGE SIZE of the ones that will be in her face at the table? It ain't the same as on TV. Better to be sure before putting all the eggs in one basket. Not even one meal just for the adults? Beware character burn out. Chip-n-Dale aren't gonna fix a cranky little one that feels bad, needs a new diaper, or a good NAP. Plan well.
