HELP! Different Menus? All entrees not included?

I have some questions .... I remember reading a while back that:

1) some restaurants have different menus for the DDP guests

2) certain entrees are not included in the DDP - does anyone know which ones?

3) I have also heard that some servers are not as nice to DDP guests. Disney includes an 18% tiip - don't the servers get that tip? Why else would they not wan't to give us the same service as non-ddp guests?

But...
1) Nope, same menu.

2) There are very few exclusions, mostly add-ons from what I've read.

3) Some have had great service on DDP, some have had bad. Seems to vary as much as service when NOT on the DDP.

As for the entrees not included - they were said to be the most expensive items on the menu. True?

About the only place I really recall was Wolfgang Puck's Express and only allowing certain dishes.
Other than that, the menus and choices are the same that I am aware from what I have read here.

And it was only a few restaurants that had exclusions. The vast majority of restaurants had no exclusions, offering the same menu and service to all guests.

the only restuarant we had an exclusion was at Wolfgang Puck Cafe - and they told us upfront that the sushi was extra.

Other than that we did not have a different menu and the service was excellent at every meal we had..

1) Whether you are on the dining plan or not you have the same menu.

2) Every entree on the menu is included. Although add ons usually are not, depending on the restaurant and if the CM is in a good mood.

3) Yes, they get an 18% tip, but if you think they do not deserve it then talk to the manager and let them know. I've heard they can adjust it. No benefit to you really, except the justification that you know their tip was affected.

I'm happy to hear that there isn't a seperate menu for ddp and that all the expensive entrees are included

As for the tip - I would presume that none of the servers would be horrible enough to take some of their tip away (we all gotta earn money!) I was just reading threads that said some people noticed that those on the ddp were not treated as well - I would hope that isn't the case and since we are fairly good tippers I will probably be leaving a little extra if it was deserved

We didn't notice any difference in quality of service between being on the Dining Plan and not being on the Dining Plan.
