I can't decide between AKL and Beach Club. Traveling
Dec 11-18th. Can go with a Deluxe Savannah at AKL or Conceirge @ Beach Club. Have read good and bad reviews about both. Has anyone stayed at both and have preference? Bad experience at one or the other??? My DD is turning 6 during our trip.
Any info will be helpful in trying to make this decison.

Have only stayed at BC and of course BCV's and love it there, but have a friend who stayed at AKL with her 2 girls and loved it! She said they had so many great activities for the kids there;)

It's going to be a tough decision. I don't think you can go wrong either way. Best of luck!

I'd pick Beach Club for the location and the pool. Your 6 year old also will enjoy the Boardwalk festivities. I have read nothing but good reviews for the Yacht Club's concierage if that's an option.

I stayed at both on my last trip. BC Concierge was wonderful. It was my DS birthday and they made it special for him. The location of the BC can't be beat! SAB is much better than the pool at the AKL. We felt like animals at a watering hole at AKL too many people in such a small pool, we couldn't get a chair because they were all "reserved". Although looking at the animals from the balcony was neat, after a short time we saw all there was to see in our savannah and it wasn't all that thrilling for my 3DSs. They loved the BC and have asked to return there. I'm glad we tried AKL, but it wasn't really for us.

I would definately choose BC over AKL.

You'll have a great time no matter what you do!

We love the BC! There's so much to do for all ages with SAB, the BW, and Epcot & MGM right there. We just changed our POR ressie to BC for Dec. 19-23, & can't wait! We'll be @ WL 12/16-19!:D

Thanks for all the input. How are the restautrants at BC? Do they offer counter service. (I've researched AKL but not BC ...yet)

Cape May Cafe' is awesome!:teeth:

They have a character breakfast buffet with Minnie,Goofey,Chip & Dale. And the Clam bake for dinner (also a buffet) is wonderful as well!

They offer a continental breakfast type thing at the Rip Tide lounge right off the lobby for breakfast in the morning. And of course BC has in room dining.

Martha's vineyard is a nice lounge.

Beaches-N-Cream is fantastik although crowded. But YUMM!

Hurricane Hannah's pool bar/snack bar has fast food offerings as well as great drinks (Try the frozen Beachball:teeth: ) and SAB has pool drink waiters/waitress's too;)

You can also walk over to YC to the Yachtsman Steakhouse ~ the bourbon steak is wonderful;) or the YC Galley and the Crews Cup lounge.

Beyond that ~ you can walk or take the boat over to Epcot and have all the resturaunts for dinner there or over to BW ~ BW bakery is yummy in the mornings and they have the Flying Fish Cafe and Spoodles ;)

HTH's:wave:
