We will be at RPR 3/29-3/31. YEAH! I booked an AP rate to get the discount so now have to decide which one AP. The room was $334 standard and now is $219 which seems fair game considering this is week before easter.

Universal site says $229preferred and $289 Premium (unless they are somewhere else cheaper). I understand i cant get the cheaper one because of the BO dates. There is a good chance we will be here again this year in December for DD cheer competition so the AP would be in DH name and we could possibly come back and then maybe next spring and would save on his ticket.

I saw the Premium benefits include free valet parking/self parking. I am going to have pay that at the resort but not sure if it is 24 hour spans or will hotel charge only per night? We plan on staying late even after we check out on 3/31.
Another benefit though minor is 8 bottles of water? Do you get this at the hotel every time you go or is it 8 bottles in the park? Any info there?

Does anyone know if the flex pay is only for Florida residents? And one last question is about extra tickets. If AP is in DH name it says he can buy extra tickets at discount. Can he do this online or is this only at the gate?

Thank you to the pros!!! Any help appreciated.

You will have to pay to park at the resorts...the garage is free but does not allow overnight parking. The resorts charge $15.00/day for the parking fee.

All the water bottles would be a park only benefit since the hotels are not owned by Universal.

I think anyone can do the Flex-Pay and yes...Passholders can purchase up to six park tickets at a discount.

Oh thank you. Would the extra park tickets have to purchased at the gate or can you do it online? The difference in price is $70 for the premium so trying to decide on the savings. :thumbsup2

Well...the Passholder would have to buy them for you and then get the tickets to you...if they aren't there with you. I guess they could purchase online but then again they would have to get the tickets to you.

After checking the website about the Flex-Pay, I don't see where's it available to non-FL residents. You might want to call Universal directly to ask about that.

The AP discount on tickets is...10% off one park passes and 15% off multi-day tickets.

Flex pay is available for anyone..I have it and live in NC....the down side is that you don't get a discounted renewal rate and you must notify them 30 days prior if you decide not to continue making installments on your renewal.

How long have you had it? Remember...they changed the tickets and some policies this year so while you may have it, new passes may not be able to get it. But...I'm not sure that's why it's easiest to call and ask.

I got mine in Nov 09 and my DH got his Dec 09. I am planning to get my boys theirs when we go next month. I bought mine online and DH bought his at the park.

But who I am but a lonely poster...Call Universal to be sure you can... :-)
