My family (myself, husband, Parents, 5year Old boy, and 8 montg Old boy) are booked for a week at AOA Cars Suite in December. I received a free dining pin so we already have free dining. Im beginning to get worried about the table bed not being comfortable, so i am now thinking about booking 2 separate rooms. POR is already sold out with the free dining pin. Should we stay at AOA, or get 2 rooms at CSR or another value. Thanks!!!

The "table bed" is perfectly comfortable for the kids. However, I think that even though there will be sleeping space for 6, it would be awfully tight quarters for a week. Assuming you give your parents the bedroom, you will have no privacy in the living area. Plus, I know that my in laws would prefer to have some space at the end of the day to unwind...

CSR is a moderate resort, so I'm not sure if you're thinking of transitioning to two mods or two values, but I think two rooms would be the way I would go. I would recommend ASMovies for a value and it would be a toss up on the moderate between CSR (cool pool, but huge) or POFQ (smaller, but cool theme and the boats to DTD).

Have a great trip! :)

I would stick with AOA! We had the nearly the same group last September in a Cars Suite. My parents took the master area and DH, myself and my two boys took the main living area. The table bed and sofa bed were both very comfy. DH and I started on the sofa bed together with DS on the table bed and DS2 in a pack n play and by the end of the trip I was sleeping with DS on the table bed because I did not like the air conditioning blowing right on me in the main living area I am a cold wuss. The bathrooms in the suites are very, very nice a HUGE step up from what I see in the normal value resorts. The master has a walk in shower, and overall is very nice sized. The main bathroom is decent sized and actually has a door on the vanity area rather than a curtain (found in other values). We really enjoyed having the indoor corridors and the themeing at AOA is IMO the best Disney themed resort!! I really think you will love it. If you request the Mater building you will be steps away from animation hall and the Nemo pool but will get none of the pool noise!!!

I agree that the table bed at AOA is quite comfy, at least for kids. The adults in our group didn't sleep on it; I just laid on it briefly, so I'm not sure how it would hold up over a week for grown-ups. I'm guessing though that the 8 month old will sleep in a playpen etc. and the 5 year old won't take up much room, so I would think as far as sleeping comfort you would probably be just fine with the suites at AOA. It is a very nicely themed resort, especially for kids. If you are very concerned about it, or about privacy/space, then yes go with 2 rooms somewhere. I agree with pp that AsMovies might be a good choice of value. If you are thinking moderate resort with 2 rooms, CSR is a great choice. When our youngest was a baby, we liked the sliding wooden doors to the vanity area at CSR because it gave a little separate space for her to go to sleep earlier than the rest of us. We just set up the playpen in there and it was like another little room.

we stayed in the Nemo Suite Last year and the TABLE BED was super comfy!!!

and much better for adults then the pull out couch. I found my feet hung off the couch bed.

The mattress on the table bed was THICKER than the pull out.

For the cost of a suite and the fact that only quick service free dining comes with a value resort...I would definitely go with two rooms at a moderate. We vacation with my parents often and have shared a condo with them, but we always make sure that we have a separate bedroom and bath. Even if my parents were in the bedroom of the suite, I would want my own room with a door for me and my husband. At Disney...we always have a separate room.
