HELP!! Cozumel Excursions Question

We will be going on the 8/2/03 Western cruise and are trying to decide between two different excursions. We are a family of four (boys 13 & 9) traveling with another family of four (girl14 and boy 9). We are deciding between the Fury Catamaran Sail, Snorkel & Beach Party and the Cozumel Beach Break. I was thinking that the Catamaran might include a lot of drinking as margaritas and beer are included. My brother-in-law has been on the Playa Sol excurision and said it was great for kids. We'd like to book this soon and were torn between the two.

Has anyone been on either of these excursions? Any comments or suggestions? Thanks.

Go to Chankanaab, it's a fantastic park. You can get a taxi for $10 and admission is cheap ($10/head? look it up to be sure). They have great snorkelling, ruins, a sea lion show (corny, but fun), iguanas, snuba and helmet diving if you want to pay for it. Mucho fun.

We booked the Dolphin Swim at the Park with shore trips. I've heard that you could spend the entire day there and never get bored or tired!

Think that's what we will do!

The Fury Catamaran is AWESOME, I highly recommend it! You get to snorkel in two different areas plus there is a beach at the end of the excursion as well. The crew on the Fury is excellent and it's a huge catamaran. There are drinks available but you certainly don't HAVE to drink (I didn't) and there are plenty of kids on the excursion.

We have booked the Fury Catamaran for our June 7th cruise. We've done the Fury in Key West (we've also booked that for this cruise) and loved it! We've also done the catamaran excursion in St. Maartin - highly recommend that one too!
