Hi everyone!!!

I have a Comcast DVR - taped Project Runway - watched and then tried to delete it - IT WON'T DELETE:confused3:confused3:confused3

I have tried every which way I can:confused3:confused3 No I didn't put a lock on it.......when I hit the ok button for delete it does nothing like it is stuck.

Other shows that I have watched and deleted after Project Runway were fine - no problems deleting it.

Really don't want to call Comcast and go through 5 people to get an answer so I turned to the Disboards.....

Can anyone help me????

Thanks!!
Have a Magical Disney Day!!

I have to go with: Try rebooting everything. Unplug it all, unhook everything, then wait a minute and plug it all back in. When it's totally reset, try again and see what happens.

I have the same thing.. I have an episode of the view that has been on my DVR for WEEKS. Nothing will delete it. Yes.. we have dome the whole turn off reboot thing. NOTHING! GRRRRRR.

We had the same problem with an episode of Heroes. But we just moved from an apartment to a house. So after unplugging the DVR at the apartment, and waiting 8 hours until the cable was set up at the house, then we could delete the program. :confused3

In the past, when we have had cable issues, Comcast would send a signal to reset the box. Maybe call and ask them to do that?

This happened to me with an old episode of Jon & Kate plus 8 that I could not get rid of, it had been in there since November 2008. When we went on our 2 week trip to Disney this past September, I had a bunch of things record to the point that my DVR filled to capacity and I even lost a couple of shows. This shows you how I watch too much TV, we have an HD DVR so it records a lot.

Since it filled to capacity, J&K8 was finally knocked out. You could just try recording a bunch of stuff to knock it out.

OK, seeing what's been posted so far: Try unplugging everything and leaving it all sit overnight (at least 8 hours, like Hopemax did) and then try again.

If that still doesn't work, you can always remove the box and physically take it to Comcast and they will give you a new one. Hopefully, that would work.
