Which would you choose and why? We'll be there only a few days for a conference and Riverside is only $250 more total cost. We've never stayed at either. We won't have a car but Wyndham says they offer scheduled shuttle service. How is that at night getting to Disney Springs. Thanks for your input!!

PO Riverside unless there's a particular reason why Wyndham appeals to you. In my experience, neighboring hotels' shuttle services are not nearly as good as WDW's. I cannot comment on Wyndham's specifically. PO Riverside is fantastic as well! Really well themed and fun.

We just booked Riverside! I don't know why it was even a question - for such a minimal price difference to us on property is best! My original search I didn't want to spend so much on a room for such a short stay and we usually do deluxe but it was so comparable to the place of the conference. I think we're just used to more restaurants and amenities at the hotel on a longer vacation but it's just for a conference and I can have easier transport to the parks! Thanks!!

You're going to a conference. Are the meetings being held at the Whyndham? Is the conference itself offering transportation from Riverside to Whyndham, timed to your meetings? Will you be having drinks with colleagues after meetings?

You may be better off at the Whyndham

This is the way. In almost all cases, you want to stay at the official conference hotel, or whatever hotel is closest to the meeting center. "Oh, I can stay at Disney for only $250 more!" is not a good reason to stay somewhere else. And as someone said, even if you have time for Disney stuff, $250 will pay for a lot of rides, no need for the (probably unreliable) shuttle.
