Help! Checking out today!

I have been staying at SS since last Friday and I am having a wonderful time. The resort is beautiful and the weather is great. Here is the problem...I have to leave today! Besides that being incredibly sad, I have totally blanked on tipping procedures. I have only done one other DVC stay and that was before my son was born. Since then my mind has gone to mush. What is appropriate to leave as a tip? We have a 2 bdrm with 4 adults and 3 kids (5, 2, & 1) and a studio with 2 adults. I'm sorry to say that I forgot to leave a tip on Trash & Towel day so I want to make sure that I do the right thing on check out. Thanks!!!

We do not tip for trash & towel. If we call housekeeping during our stay to request something, we will tip the person who brings it to us.

When we check out, we generally leave $20-$40, depending on the number of people we had in the unit.

FWIW, Disney does not consider housekeeping to be a tipped position, but we do tip for full cleanings.

LOL, Tigger - Leaving is always the worst part of the stay for me, too!
