Folks first time renting car in Orlando... What docs do I need?? Just my Drivers licence and the deposit??

Oh 3 weeks on Thurs!!! :cool1:

Driving License you will definitely need.

Have you pre-booked a car through your travel agent or tour company etc?, if you have you will also need your booking reservation, which would arrive with your flight tickets.

Not sure about a deposit, again see above really - have you booked a car already, have you pre-paid insurance/taxes etc?

Sorry depends on what you have booked.

Yeah booked car already, all insurance etc already paid... So I am thinking only need booking form and licence..

Think it is just pre-holiday excitement/nerves setting in!! :thumbsup2

With Alamo, last month, I needed reservation number, insurance details (I used an annual policy from Insurance4carhire), passport, credit card and the picture part of my driving license - the guy on the desk said he didn't want the paper bit :sunny:

I'd hired the car independently, online.
They tried to get me to pay more for a bigger car, and take their insurance, but I said no and went on my way :thumbsup2

I think you are sorted then, booking reservation and license is all you need, the only thing you may have to pay for is fuel, unless you have pre-paid that also....and any upgrade obviously, should you wish :)
