Help! Can't decide

We were really leaning towards booking the free dining plan available in April 2013 but I haven't been able to find any reasonable prices for flight tickets from Amsterdam yet. I am afraid we will miss out on a good deal. We have never been before so have no idea if 2 weeks Disney will be too much Disney or even if the price including free dining is a good price?

Also, does anyone know what would be the cancellation policy for booking on disney.co.uk? Would we be able to pay a fee to change the dates if we can't find flight tickets on the exact same date? I wanted to call today but only could find a 0800 number. I think if we could cancel I would book for sure.

If you cancel its £50pp fee.

I expect them to extend the current offer but if you are 100% set on the deal then book, I never book until later in the year but if the didn't extend the offer we don't mind staying offsite.

If you change your dates but do not reduce the price of the holiday, then there is no charge (subject to there being availability). We did this in 2010, and have had to do the same for this August when our flights changed. As Wayne notes above, if you do cancel (or reduce the cost of the holiday), then it's £50pp.

As for flights, I've had a quick look using this tool, and cheapest flights in April next year at this moment appears to be with Aer Lingus via Dublin at 672 Euros departing 13th April.

14 days disney is not too much for us.

This October we are onsite with free dining for 14 nights and just doing disney parks.

Allows a nice relaxed pace and plenty of time for swimming etc.

Aswell as the 4 main parks and 2 water parks you can also spend time at DownTown Disney, disney boardwalk, visiting other resorts, dinner shows, disney quest.

Thanks all for your replies. I keep thinking after a few days I will have had enough and prefer more space and to get away but have no idea what there all is regarding activities for kids on the resort.

We are thinking of booking Old key west (kids are 3,5,6, and 9). Any thoughts?

Also, does anyone have a number I can call for Disney Uk...what you see on the official website?

OKW is a lovely relaxing resort, we are headed there again in October.

My DD enjoyed it. There is a amin pool with a slide and a few smaller pools. We stayed at turtle pond area which had a lovely pool ideal for kids with an adjacent play area and snack bar for drink refills.

As OKW is a DVC resort it has a programme of kids activities eg games in the main pool each afternoon, craft activities, campfire some nights, outdoor film. they give you a programme when you check in.
