I'm having a hard time trying to decide which hotel to stay at -- POFQ or POP. My initial choice was POFQ, since I'm used to the moderates (stayed at POR & CBR before). I like that POFQ is a smaller resort and that it has the boats to DTD and the good reviews it's received. POP came into mind because the $ that we could save ($400!) and that my DDs (9 & 5) would probably love the theming at POP over POFQ. I'm just a little hesitant because of the stories that I've read about the crowds at POP. I don't mind noise at a resort, as long as it's not in my room. I don't mind waiting on lines for buses or food, as long as it's not a ridiculous wait. I just can't make up my mind if saving some money is worth having possible aggravation. :confused3

Pop Century is a very large resort. So in many of the public places you will see more people than at POFQ. The food court is always hopping, along with the pools. And yes I have seen long lines for buses. But for as much time as my family and I spend at the hotel we really don't see that many people. But I love seeing the people. One thing I love about the values is the family atmosphere. You hear all the kids laughing and playing and having a great time. To me that is a huge part of a Disney vacation.

I'm not sure what time of year you are planning on going, but the times that me or my family went I know things were never a hastle.

We stayed at POP last time and are staying at PORFQ this time. We had no issues with POP at all...the themeing was great and the kids loved it (so did the adults LOL). No noise issues, the food court got a little crowded in the morning but if you went early or a little later it wasn't bad at all. (this was in October)

We are staying at PORFQ this time just because we want to try something different and wanted to upgrade a little this time. If you are basically only using the resort to sleep and take a swim and you could take your saved $$$'s and use them for something else that you wanted to do fun while you are there then I would. I know some people don't like the POP and it depends on what time of year you go (like not spring break or pop warner week) but when we went we had no complaints at all. Hope that helped a little! ;)
