You don't say what mode of transportation you'll be using. If you're depending on Disney transportation, I would say no way you're going to make it. If you have your own vehicle, then perhaps, but it will be tight.
I would not do this at all - with my own transportation or not...a couple of reasons.
First Park Fare is going to be very busy and even if you get right it will definitely take one hour to eat and see the characters plus pay your bill.
Next I remember when we went to La Nouba it said to be there one hour in advance - we went on Easter and were there one hour in advance; it wasn't necessary as they didn't open the doors until one half hour prior to performance but I do know it says on your tickets that if you are not there they will resell the tickets so its possible that you could get there just at show time and have no seats.
Both events are fun and worthy of your full attention. I realize Park Fare is just a meal but its a character meal with some hard to see characters. We went in July and had to get to MGM a couple of hours later for a VIP seating of a show; anyway our reservation was for 5 and I wanted to be out of there by 6 and we just made it. We were done eating but the only character we hadn't seen was Prince Charming so we waited for him. It took us almost another 20 minutes before we caught a bus. It just takes time to get places at Disney even with a car...I would not try and do both of those events back to back.
Originally posted by cookie2001 What do you think? I made PSs for Park Faire at 4:00 Christmas Day. I want to make reservations for La Nouba at 6:00. Can we make it?
Even though your PS is for 4pm, remember that it's not a reservation -- it's a priority seating. Which means that you'll be seated at the next available table. Chances are, you won't be seated right at 4pm ... probably looking at closer to 4:15-4:20pm because it's Christmas and it will be crowded and people will be taking their time and enjoying their meal and the characters. It will take at least an hour to eat and meet the characters, which puts you out at 5:20-5:30pm. If you're taking Disney transport, you definitely won't make it with only 30 min to showtime. But even if you drive your own car, it's another 5-10 min from Park Faire to the car (even the valets will be busy) and then 10 min to DTD at least. Then you have to park and walk in, which puts you at the theater at 6pm, so you'll miss pre-show and possibly have your seats sold away because you weren't there at 10 mins to show.
I'd either reserve the later Cirque show that night, or do the two things on different nights.
Thanks everybody. While it's tempting to try this so that I can be classified as WDW insane, I agree that both events will make Christmas special. Rushing between them will not. I just wish that the second La Nouba preformance was earlier than 9:00 or that the first seating at Park Faire was earlier. We are leaving the next day or I wouldn't even think about it.
